ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 are most widely used standards worldwide as quality management system and environment management system respectively. ISO 45001 is a recent release on occupational health and safety management system. Although all these three standards are revised in recent three years i.e. from 2015 to 2018, ISO 45001 is the latest release in 2018.

Typically all three standards follow the same high level structure so it will be very easy for organizations looking to integrate these three standards or any two of them. In order to ease the process of integration, Surgical Units proudly presents a comparison matrix on latest version of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

With the use of a comparison matrix, professionals can easily see and examine number of procedures that can be integrated, the unique requirements of each standard etc. If any one wants to make integrated checklist of internal audits based on above standards, this comparison matrix will be helpful.

ISO 45001:2018 is standard for Occupational health and safety management systems which can be easily integrated with other HLS standards. The benefit of integration for organization is the fact they don’t need to manage parallel systems instead there is only one system that manages multiple standards. This actually increase productivity and effectiveness of the implemented standards.
